Group Drivers Your Way
A team is a named group of drivers tied to one or more zones. Most companies build them around cities or operating areas, but the rule is yours: a bike crew for downtown, a van team for the suburbs, a night shift, a partner fleet. Create as many as you need in the Admin Center under Settings, Driver Setup, Teams. Two fields, a name and the zones, and the team exists.
Zones Define Each Team
Zones are the map of where you operate. When you attach zones to a team, those zones become the areas its drivers can work in, and that feeds straight into assignment and dispatching later. A driver on the Vilnius team sees Vilnius work. A driver on two teams sees both. You change the zone list once, on the team, instead of driver by driver.
One Driver, Multiple Teams
Put a driver on a team from their profile in the Admin Center. Drivers, Driver Details, Edit, pick the team or teams from the list. A driver can belong to several teams at the same time, which is how you handle the person who covers two cities or floats between the bike and van crews. Team, working type, and vehicle type together decide which orders a driver can even be considered for, so a driver with no team is a driver who gets no work.
Match Services to Teams
Every service in Onro has a Teams field. Leave it on all teams and any driver can take it. Pick specific teams and the service is only offered to drivers on those teams. That is how you keep a refrigerated van service away from the bike couriers, or reserve a premium same day service for your most reliable crew, without touching a single driver record.
Orders Reach the Right Drivers
When an order comes in, Onro looks at its service, finds the teams attached to that service, and offers the job to drivers on those teams inside the matching zones. Nobody else sees it. Automatic assignment respects this, and so does manual dispatch. Fewer wrong drivers get pinged, and your dispatcher only ever chooses between people who can do the job.
Each Team, Its Own Dispatcher
Teams also decide what your office staff can see. Create a dispatcher user in Settings, Users & Groups, and set the Teams box on their account. That dispatcher now manages one group of drivers and those drivers’ orders in the Dispatcher panel, and nothing else. The same box exists for zones, services, vehicle types, and warehouses, so a regional dispatcher, a night dispatcher, and a partner fleet manager can all work in the same Onro without stepping on each other.
