Ecwid by Lightspeed + Onro

Delivery is the last thing a shopper picks at checkout, and usually the part of the order your store knows the least about. Once “local delivery” is selected, somebody still has to tell a driver. The Onro app for Ecwid by Lightspeed handles that hand-off for you.

Onro is delivery management software for courier companies, last-mile fleets, distributors, and retailers with their own drivers. Connect it to your Ecwid store with a single API key and eligible orders become delivery jobs in Onro automatically, carrying the pickup address, the customer’s contact details, and the order number. From there it’s the normal Onro flow: dispatch (manual or automatic), the driver runs the route in the Onro Driver app, and the customer gets a live tracking page.

You have two ways to price delivery, and they can run side by side. Dynamic Onro rates ask Onro for a real quote during checkout, so the shopper sees the actual price for that distance and service. Set up as many as you like: a same-day option on one service, an on-demand option on another, each with its own transit estimate. Or keep the shipping methods you already built in Ecwid. Flat rates, free delivery, conditional free delivery, and table rates each get their own card in the app, and you choose which ones should create an Onro delivery.

You also choose when the delivery gets created: the moment the order is placed, once payment is marked paid, or when the fulfillment hits a status you pick. Cash on delivery orders are matched by payment method name so the driver collects the right amount, and a cancellation in Ecwid can cancel the matching delivery in Onro.

The sync runs both ways. Map which Onro status should set the Ecwid fulfillment to Out for delivery and which should mark it Delivered, and whether the Onro tracking link gets attached. Every delivery created from the store also shows up inside the Ecwid admin: Onro order code, linked Ecwid order, status, price, tracking link, shipment label, and the option to confirm or cancel.

The app is free to install. It needs an active Onro account, which also covers Onro’s Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, and API integrations.
