Customer Communication Settings

The December 2025 release note introduces enhanced customer communication controls. This allows notifications to be managed via SMS, email, and in-app push notifications across the Admin Center, customer web portal, and mobile apps. In addition to these new settings, the update improves order traceability by including driver usernames in order events.

This release also delivers a wide range of bug fixes, addressing dispatch behavior, multi-drop-off import validation, tracking page branding, translation handling, language consistency, phone number formatting, address visibility, and UI improvements—resulting in a smoother, more reliable user experience across the platform.

🚀 What’s New in the December 2025 Release?

We’ve added new notification settings for customer communications.
You can now choose whether customers receive updates via SMS, email, or push notifications.

These settings are available in the Admin Center, the customer web portal, and the customer mobile apps.

In the default settings, all three communication channels are active for all new and old customers.

✨ Improvements

  • Order events now include the driver username for better traceability.

🐞 Bugs Fixed

  • Fixed an issue where switching an order from Rejected back to Auto-dispatch could reset the selected vehicle settings.
  • Fixed multi-drop-off import failing with an empty/unclear error response; validation now returns proper, readable error messages.
  • Fixed the tracking page not reflecting the latest branding (icons/colors were still showing the old theme).
  • Fixed a minor UI typo in the web portal: “Individual” now uses correct capitalization.
  • Fixed translations being overwritten across languages (editing one language no longer updates/saves into other languages).
  • Fixed language leakage where a driver’s selected language could affect the customer-side language.
  • Fixed phone number formatting, deleting an extra leading 0 for pickup/drop-off contact numbers.
  • Fixed an issue where saving an address could fail to be viewed in the Web App.
  • Fixed the dispatcher username in the UI for long usernames.
