Redesigned “New Order” Form and Bulk Import

  New Features

• We’ve implemented a new version of the “Create Order” form. Now the dispatcher and the customer web portal have the same UI and UX for creating new orders.
  • Optimized mobile version for improved performance and usability.
  • To reduce user confusion, mandatory fields (in address details) and options are now marked with a red asterisk.
  • Errors now display below the address field when a typed address is not selected from search results.
  • Mandatory address detail fields indicate errors, even when the section is not selected.
  • A quick dialog is added to save selected addresses to the address book more efficiently.
  • The address deletion directly from the address book on the same page is added.
  • Enhanced payment section UX, including improved payment method selection and promotions.
  • Improved the order creation buttons by combining confirm and draft buttons into a more compact design.
  • The new order create form is redesigned with the Onro design system, offering a cleaner, more minimalistic, and transparent design. Enhances aesthetics, UX, and the ability to display high volumes of information in limited space. Previously applied to the Dispatcher redesign.

• New communication tags and triggers have been added including “Block Driver”, “Unblock Driver”, and “Pickup Contact Number.”
• We have published a new update on the bulk import feature for orders enabling you to upload orders more easily and efficiently. The main changes are listed below; you can see all the details here.
  • Optional columns (fields) can be removed
  • Boolean columns/fields (true/false)
  • New reference ID column
  • Combined date and time format for scheduled orders
  • Latitude and longitude in a single field
  • Draft column for P&D orders
  • Optional “is scheduled” field
  • Recognize drop number in multi-drop import
  • Additional non-used columns allowed
  • The COD column can be removed or left empty

 Improvements

• In the phone number fields characters other than numbers are acceptable to enable you to add internal phone numbers.
• The block driver mechanism works with the driver’s authorization field.
• For the P&D order type, the driver’s app payment message has been enhanced for more clarity.

 Bugs Fixed

• The issue with scrolling the create order form has been fixed.
• The bug with entering the empty ranges for pricing has been resolved.
• The address book create form issue has been fixed.
• The default page of the dispatcher when first entering is resolved. It will automatically go to the page with the suitable order type as expected.
• The date issue of the bulk import files has been corrected and will show the true date.
• The bug with the dispatcher search box has been fixed. When you empty the search box it doesn’t keep any letters of the previous search.
• The issue with the address fields has been resolved to access you to edit the address with no problems.
